VOLUNTEER REGISTRY

During major emergencies, health care providers are faced with large numbers of injuries and casualties, as well as, inquiries from members of the community looking for loved ones.

These situations are amplified if the emergency occurs after normal business hours when employees are at home, and whose return may be prohibited by road closures.

UCSF, in collaboration with the San Francisco Department of Public Health, is developing a site to compile a registry of potential volunteers who are willing to provide medical, or allied services during such emergencies.

The information you provide will only be used by the Emergency Program coordinators.

Depending on the type of services and availability a volunteer has provided, he/she may be asked to report to one of the designated "emergency response sites" in San Francisco.

During the year volunteers may be invited to attend voluntary orientation, training, or planning sessions.

Please visit this page often for updates.
