Code Gray • Code Gray - Stay Away
• Overhead announcement with location of a civil disturbance. All non-security personnel STAY AWAY
Bomb Threats

• If threat via phone, stay on the phone and get as much information as possible - ask questions
• Call 9+911 to report, or hand co-worker a note to do so
• Alert department manager
• Suspected Device/Bomb - remove persons from danger and follow procedures above
• Do not use walkie-talkies in the area of a suspected bomb

Violent Persons • Call 9+911 immediately
• Alert co-workers and remove patients from danger
• UCPD and Security Staff may assist with patient restraints and/or arrests
Assault to Staff

• Call 9+911 immediately
• Alert department manager
• When danger is over follow policy as outlined in Administrative Manual

Hostage Situation • Call 9+911
Civil Disturbance • Call 9+911
Workplace Violence • Emergencies 9+911
Non-urgent call Medical Center Security Supervisor at 5-7890
