EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AT UCSF

This guide has been developed by the UCSF Emergency Preparedness Program to assist in minimizing the effects from accidents and potential disasters. The information in this guide is intended to cover most emergency actions, but is not all-inclusive. Common sense must prevail. Understand your work site Emergency Action Plan. Become familiar with the locations of fire alarm pull boxes, fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation exits, and emergency assembly areas.

POST this guide where it will be immediately available for quick reference in an emergency. For paper copies: Contact the Campus Emergency Preparedness Program, c/o UCSF Police, 476-5507 or email Lynda Purves. (Click here for PDF) . UCSF Medical Center staff (Hospital & Clinics) - refer to the "Rainbow Chart" - Emergency Conditions & Basic Staff Response - Call 353-7797 for copies. UC - SFGH staff - refer to emergency numbers/procedures specific to SFGH.
